1. coMPLETE online background check
To complete the online volunteer background check, please click the button below. The background check costs $20 and can be paid online using the link provided. We require this check for all volunteers aged 18 and older to ensure a safe environment at all partner locations.
2. volunteer agreement & registration fees
Kindly click the buttons below to submit the TCC volunteer agreement and pay registration fees. The volunteer agreement outlines our policies, procedures, and standards of conduct. A one-time registration fee of $75 is required to cover necessary equipment costs (handler badge and dog vest) and evaluation fees. Additional expenses, including insurance, staff time, and volunteer support, are funded by our generous individual donors, and corporate partners.
3. Dog Health Screening
Please have your veterinarian complete the dog health screening form. Simply click the button below to send the link to your veterinarian, along with a request for the latest vaccination records. This can be done easily by emailing the link to your veterinarian's office and asking them to respond with your vaccination records. Vaccination records can be forwarded to info@chriscenterpaws.org.
4. Schedule an evaluation
Once your application and background check have been completed, a member of the TCC team will contact you to arrange your evaluation with an AKC/CGC evaluator. Please be aware that processing your application may take up to two. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@chriscenterpaws.org.
